Tom and Lynda Ayres are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversay Sunday, Nov. 4.
They were married Nov. 2, 1962, at Lover’s Lane Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas.
Tom is from Ada and Lynda from Springer. Tom is retired from doing heating and air conditioning (Air Comfort A/C & Heating) in Ardmore and Kingston. Lynda is retired from Home Solutions, a kitchen and bath business also in Ardmore and Kingston. They now live south of Wilson.
Their children are Mike and Stacey Ayres, Jason and Angel Ayres and Donna and Marty Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. Ayres are the grandparents of Shane, Brandon and Jacob Ayres, Jaylen and Brittani Ayres, Amanda Collins, Ashley Taylor; and great-grandparents of Jadyn, Peyton and Heidi Ayres.
The family invites friends, relatives and former classmates to attend the event from 2-4 p.m. at Denney’s Banquet Room at 2705 W. Broadway, Ardmore. The family requests no gifts.
