Ada High among state's highest ACT scorers

Ada —  

Ada Senior High School and two other Oklahoma schools tied for the 10th highest ACT college entrance exam scores in the state.

Ada High averaged 22.8 points on a 36-point scale, tying Stillwater and Lomega Senior High Schools, according to the Oklahoma State Department of  Education. Ninety-nine graduating seniors at Ada High took the test this  year, compared to 300 at Stillwater and 12 at Lomega.

Ada Schools Superintendent Pat Harris said this is the fourth straight year that ACT has recognized Ada students’ ability to handle college-level courses.
