Ada —
Ada High School amassed 10 first places in the East Central University 2012 Interscholastic Meet and backed that up with a cluster of seconds and thirds to win the large school division.
Sophomore counselor Martha Nelson, the scholastic team sponor, was elated at the first ECU win in several years.
Though AHS has long enjoyed success at the other two scholastic meets entered by the school, Southeastern and Seminole State, ECU has been the toughest with several larger schools entered each year.
Division 2 was won by New Lima and the small schools division by Preston.
